Flare Dance Academy

Flare Dance Academy is a performing arts school for Freestyle dance, Show dance and musical theatre

About Us

The 'Flare Academy Of Performing Arts' was established in August 2007 and is owned and managed by Miss Emma Brookes who has thirty years of dance and performing experience under her belt. Emma is a qualified dance teacher and adjudicator under the I.D T.A (International Dance Teachers Association) and a member of the A.D.F.P. Emma was not only a very successful dance competitor reaching finals in national competitions such as Euro Dance; she has also performed on stage many times, sometimes accompanying local radio stations such as Beacon FM and BRMB on their road shows.

At 21, Emma took her talents abroad, to Barcelona where she performed in several shows in various theatres, most prestigiously of them all being the 'Gran Masion' theatre.

More recently Emma managed one of the most successful and respected dance and performing arts school in the West Midlands before finally taking the plunge to open her very own performing arts academy. Emma has also trained many top championship dancers over the years.

Dance has been a way of life for Emma who at the age of three was first taken to a dance class by her mother to help overcome shyness. Within a year she was performing to an audience of 1000 people and a passion for performing had awoken inside and grown with age

At Flare Dance Academy we offer the very best in dance and performing arts for all ages. Emma's main ambition of today is to help ignite the same passion in children that she meets and feels a greater sense of achievement when she witnesses these children go on to perform on stage, compete in competitions, pass an exam or simply learn a routine.

New pupils are always welcome at our studio.
